Yup, it's that time of year again! A-kon is taking place in Dallas this weekend and my sisters and I are off to join in the fun. This year we've picked three different anime series and quite frankly, our costumes kick ass.
I'm going as Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho, my younger sister Anna is going as Fuu from Samurai Champloo, and our baby sister Laura is going as Kakashi from Naruto.
Laura's costume was ordered online, while Anna's and mine were hand-made by our mother. Our mom is absolutely amazing when it comes to sewing, and our costumes are nothing short of amazing. There's still a bit of work to do, but I'm confident we'll be done in time.
IF I can get my pants ironed by Thursday morning. Cotton pants! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!
